APPLETREE SURFBOARDS

WHY WERE YOU SO KEEN TO PRODUCE YOUR BOARDS IN-HOUSE IN YOUR OWN FACILITY?

Well, this way we can completely control the boards’ production, from acquiring the finest raw materials available to attracting the best craftsmen in the business. Originally, Appletree and its unique manufacturing technique was founded because brother team Jorrit and Wieger felt that kite and surfboards should be able to last longer without compromising on performance. It took years and many failed boards before they developed a technique that made this possible.

SO LET’S GET DOWN TO BUSINESS – HOW ARE APPLETREE BOARDS UNIQUE?

Every board we make starts with a foam core of our very own 50K closed-cell foam. This foam is formalized exclusively for us.
