You may have noticed we’re celebrating the 50th birthday of the Torana L34 this issue.

You might see it as a kind of ugly older sister of the A9X, and that, really, the A9X is the car the L34 should (and would) have been had it not been for the fundamental oversights and mistakes made during the car’s gestation period.
