“When I received this yarn in the post, the bright jewel tones paired with that vibrant orange felt really evocative of the 70s. I was reminded of the craft books that my mum had from that era with their bold pictorial designs. I took inspiration from these and from the summer theme to create this sun design. “I was delighted to be asked to take part in this challenge and was excited to work with this yarn! I opted for a design that showcased how well these bright colours can work together by contrasting the Technicolour with the solid-colour stripes.
