SAMUEL HARRISON: THE RISING YOUNG STAR OF HISTORIC RACING

Sam Harrison’s story is not unusual in historic single-seater racing, notably Historic Formula Ford 1600.

The Ripon-based student is not short on talent, but budgets to switch into modern single-seater racing are out of reach. Instead, he’s establishing his reputation in period racing cars.

He started in cars during the Covid-shortened 2020 season. He cut his car racing teeth in an Elden Mk8 in both Classic and Historic Formula Ford and also raced a Formula 3 Dallara F389 and a Formula Atlantic Lola T240 to speed up the learning curve.
