For me, gardening is the ultimate antidote to how relentless life and social media can feel at times. It gives me a chance to unwind, de-stress and disconnect from constant scrolling. I got into gardening when I bought my first home, which was a new build. My garden was a mud patch and, over several years, I built my gardening knowledge from scratch. There was something quite exciting about having a blank canvas to work with, but having never done any gardening before, it also felt overwhelming.
I found when I was starting out that it was hard to find the absolute basics of gardening. There is a lot of assumed knowledge, so I really hope my new book will be just
