APOLOGIES, everyone, but I feel the need to start this bulletin with a bit of a rant. I've made it known, via Cage & Aviary Birds plus my Facebook and YouTube channel, that I deliberately started bringing my birds into breeding condition early this year to facilitate a family holiday – our first since 2017. I set a lighting schedule in December, then began with condition seed, softfood, etc, in January. Bearing in mind the awful start I had due to building works being carried out by my neighbour, my birds have done very well. I'm well into double figures as I write, which represents a really good return.
