HE ISN’T a hard man to find in these parts – say his name and everyone can point you in the direction of his house. Ben Ngemani Mabuza – or Umkhulu or Grandfather Ben as people call him – is the most famous resident in the village of Silobela just outside Carolina in Mpumalanga.
“He lives down the street,” a spaza shop owner tells us and we make our way down a winding dirt road. We stop
