APHIDS
We've all seen aphids hanging out on our plants. Many people would prefer they weren't there, but what are they doing, and should we be worried? Like many garden critters, they have a role to play. It might upset those of us who like everything super clean, but we need a low level of aphids present to ensure that the aphid-munching beneficial insects stay around to keep them in check. They're also an important food source for birds in the garden.
