The BSSO series of British Championship racing could be described as our equivalent of MotoGP. It’s very fast and furious, and not for the faint hearted. It’s also expensive to compete in, and even getting started requires considerable investment. A full racing licence is needed and even that has a lot of hoops to jump through. Once you’ve done all of this you need some deep pockets to race. More than £300 in base entry fees for a weekend
