This issue of 911 & Porsche World is dedicated to celebrating the 964, which lands in our auction review pages in the form of not one, but two examples of the rare and super-desirable 964 Turbo 3.6. This first is chassis WP0ZZZ96ZPS470268, pictured top right and dressed in a stunning shade of blue. The car’s particulars have yet to be made public by Gooding & Company, the auction house offering the car for sale at this year’s Pebble Beach Auctions (scheduled to take place 16th and 17th August), but we’ve been assured details will be published on the company’s website nearer the time. We know much more about chassis WP0ZZZ96ZRS470351, a 1994 Guards Red Turbo 3.6 included in RM Sotheby’s recent Cliveden House sale.
