Farming puts food on the table for families

UNEMPLOYMENT has forced two local residents to turn to farming to help put food on the table for their families.

Lalitha Neesha Kanyee has sustained her family by growing and selling methi (fenugreek) herbs.

Kanayee, 49, lives in Seven Tanks at Silverglen Nature Reserve in Chats- worth.

She learnt farming from her grandfather, Nandlall Pardesy, and father, Ramkissoon Nandlall, while growing up.
