I’ve written in these pages before about my love of travelling to islands…the anticipation building on the journey, the sense of being somewhere just a bit different on arrival and the chance to get out and explore where you’re visiting, all the while conscious you are bounded by water on all sides. And for a peak island experience, may I recommend the Isle of Wight?
