ISLAND PARADISE

I’ve written in these pages before about my love of travelling to islands…the anticipation building on the journey, the sense of being somewhere just a bit different on arrival and the chance to get out and explore where you’re visiting, all the while conscious you are bounded by water on all sides. And for a peak island experience, may I recommend the Isle of Wight? Having just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable week spent exploring the island and experiencing its warm welcome, fabulous food and drink, plus amazing attractions, it gets my vote, that’s for sure.
