Former NSR director repaints his own’ EMU

A PROJECT to restore Southern Region 4CIG EMU No. 1753 Chris Green for main line use has been boosted by an invitation for it to attend next year's Railway 200 regional event at the Bluebell Railway.

The unit's Driving Trailer Car, No. 76048, is scheduled to be displayed at Horsted Keynes,freshly restored in Network South East livery, at the Railway 200 Southern area event next August.
