BOB BENMOSCHE was President and CEO of AIG from 2009 to 2014 and pioneered policies that saved the company from bankruptcy, enabling it to repay its debts to the government within three years. He was instrumental in taking MetLife - where he worked for 11 years, as COO and CEO - public. Once a top executive at Paine Webber and at Chase Manhattan, Benmosche was also a U.S. army veteran.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Loved the candid book- Focus on getting things done! Of course, also be good with numbers. Learned a lot about leadership, be a good listener and rally your troops and take responsibility- Benmosche is a real doer and it is unfortunate that he is no longer with us but his lessons will continue to produce much fruit. Finally, it is a nice read about how AIG was overvillified. Great book overall!
