So far in the series, this is my least favorite book. Maybe because the first two couples had such a long history, and with this couple, the long history was a sort of long distance one sided observation. But the plot line that lost me was the need to go to a hospital during a tornado because an asthmatic child was stressed (not in the middle of a bad attack mind you). It seemed like Madison didn't know anything but law in that instance. The resolution was very anticlimactic.

Possible spoiler. Writing was good, the story had potential. The actual execution not realistic as two adults in their 30's. Giving up millions for a week of sex? Not questioning the motives of partners who never respected her. Keeping a partner although junior partner out of a meeting and telling her to do use her body to convince someone to give up millions makes no sense. Savvy attorney would not accept these orders especially when it breaks her rules.
