I liked the book until they played to stereotypes. I was sad that the author decided to make June, one of the main African American characters, not only a single mom, but her son is a drug addict and in trouble with the law. June's son doing what he did in this book makes no sense. PLEASE STOP THIS TROUPE! It's harmful, as it is not every or most African Americans story. ?
