- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow, I found this book to be such a treasure in terms of both language and understanding the psychology of childhood. Such a loving book to understand family and community, difficult situations, and real personalities and how there is so much bad but getting across the goodness of most. Felt like a holiday story but really just a winter and illustration of a child with great sensitivity and empathy. Very beautiful. One of my favorites of all time. In my view, it deserves to be considered a classic.
