About this audiobook

There are things, once put in motion, that can’t be stopped. Demi has found herself on the wrong side of danger. Everything she once thought to be true is suddenly in question.

Roark has never let his feelings get in the way of his job. Protecting people requires the ability to keep his distance. Those rules flew out the window the moment he met Demi.

As they search for answers their trust in each other is tested. When forced to choose will Demi’s loyalty be to her sister who is finally back in her life? Or to the man who’s giving his all to save them both?

I'm enjoying the story, but I really wish they didn't cut up the book into a 3 book series, as it makes book 1&2 end abruptly. I hope book 3 finalizes everything.

Demi is overly emotional and naive in this one.

This is a short, fast-moving storyline with so many twists and turns. It keeps your interest.

    Really terrible listen
Kind of childish and so many cringe moments
Wouldn’t call this anything close to a thriller
The first book in the series wasn’t this bad
