- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Not a huge fan of this book. I guess I would say it was just ok. I was a little shocked by the language at first, I guess because I wasn't prepared and I thought it was a little excessive. I didn't feel like the two main characters, Clarissa & Jasper really fell in love. It seemed forced. I did enjoy the suspence of what would happen with Clarissa's uncle. I can't say if I will be reading the next books in the series. Probably not.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5started off very slow and hard to get into, but got better about halfway through. not the best I've read by Jane Feather.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Jane is fast becoming my favorite author. I loved this story and how strong Clarisa was for her little brother. I honestly think Luke should have been sent to Bedlam but will use my imagination to finish him off as painfully as possible over a long period of time. I found the Viscount very rude and obnoxious but oh well. Awesome book really
