About this audiobook
Noelle. Diamond. Vanessa. Each woman believes she is Cyrus Grey’s only wife—until he’s nearly shot to death. Now, as he lies in a coma, the deceptions keep coming, unraveling everything they thought they knew …
Gorgeous model Noelle’s marriage to Cyrus anchored her—though she couldn’t understand why he wouldn’t have a baby with her. They certainly had the money. But she’s learning fast just how Cyrus became so rich—thanks to his fatally
attractive business partner …
For Diamond, marrying Cyrus saved her from the streets—and being a pimp’s punching bag. But her past makes her the police’s prime suspect in Cyrus’s shooting. She’s determined to get to the truth—if she can survive long enough to
tell it …
Even with her beautiful house, three kids, and elegant lifestyle, Vanessa sensed something was wrong in her marriage. But she never expected this—or that taking a lover for comfort would change the game completely.
With danger closing in, Cyrus’s life hanging in the balance, and collateral damage threatening to take them all down, how far will each woman go to be the real Mrs. Grey?

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be engaging and suspenseful, with a great plot and twists. Some readers were able to predict the shooter, but still enjoyed the book. Many readers expressed a desire for a sequel, as they were left wanting more. The character development and audio reading were highly praised. However, some readers found the ending to be abrupt and unsatisfying, hoping for a sequel to tie up loose ends. Overall, readers are eager to read the next story and highly recommend this book.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was a great read but the ending left me waiting for a part 2. Where is it?!?!?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Good character development. The plot changes keep you guessing. Most impressive is the audio reading. The character voices and always-appropriate inflections are perhaps the best I’ve ever heard and the most communicative in an audiobook. It really makes for an entertaining and attentive listen.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The book started out rather interesting. However it started to move kind of slow. Each wife really worked my nerve in some kind of negative way. However I am interested in seeing what Cy is going to do next.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The book was great until the end. I’m hoping for a sequel because otherwise it seems like the author got tired of writing and just quit.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good story line. Terrible ending. Is there a part two?
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It’s been a while since I have written a review of a book. I will rate it, but sometimes I am not in the mood to write a review. However, The Three Mrs. Greys deserve a review. The pacing was great and kept me fully engaged to the point that I didn’t realize I was at the 90% mark. I also loved the drama and dramatic suspense and that damn ENDING!!! I listened to this and I almost threw my phone. It has been a long time since I have wanted to throw my phone or the book and that was increased my rating. I can’t wait to read book two.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was a great read the plots and twists were very good. I did however figure out who the shooter was. I will listen to the follow up to this book.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Once again Shelly Ellis did not disappoint. The Three Mrs. Greys was something else, each one was naïve in there own way thinking they were the one and no way this could be done them. I know this this story is fiction but I feel like there is a man out there doing this for real and getting away with it. This story kept me engaged and I look forward to reading the next story.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Well, it was good…until the end. It was extremely abrupt and didn’t finish the story. How sway?
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Three women all believe that they are the only wife of Cyrus Grey - a successful financial guy who travels on business frequently.-Vanessa has been married to Cyrus for eleven years and they have three children. The marriage isn't great but Cyrus loves his kids and provides a rich lifestyle for the family. Vanessa is having an affair with her son's younger soccer coach who believes that he's in love with her but she has no plans to give up her extravagant life with Cyrus. -Noelle has been married to Cyrus for seven years. She's a former model who desperately wants to have a baby but Cyrus keeps refusing. She owns a boutique and despite her lack of children enjoys the life that Cyrus provides for her. -Diamond has been married to Cyrus for less than a year. He saved her from her former life as a sex worker and they too live a very rich life style. She loves Cyrus and knows that he's giving her a better and safer life. All three women love and trust Cyrus...UNTILVanessa and Noelle get a phone call from the hospital that Cyrus has been shot while he was with Diamond and may not live. It's only then that they find out that he was married to three women. The more they find out, the more they realize that not only was he a bigamist but his business was not as legitimate as they'd been led to believe. As all three women fall apart in their own way: Vanessa's affair becomes stronger, Noelle starts an affair with Cyrus's business partner and Diamond gets back in touch with her pimp. They all know that their future is unknown but they still fight to become the ONLY Mrs. Grey. This book is well written and kept me turning pages to find out how it would all end. I was a bit disappointed at the end to find out that it was a two book series and ended with a major cliff hanger. The story was told in alternating chapters by each of the wives and it was interesting to see how all three of them dealt with this major change in their lives. I can't wait to start reading the next book to find out how it all ends for the three women as well as their bigamist husband and his illegal businesses.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The Three Mrs. Greys by Shelly EllisThree women and all married to the same man.The bigamist husband has been shot and could die. When the women find out they are not the only Mrs. Grey……things become complicated. This had so much potential! I am sure some people loved the story, but I found myself scratching my head wondering how the women were suckered in, put up with what they did, behaved as they did, and how they would all come out in the end. I thought this would be a standalone story but found out at the end of the book that it was instead the first in a series and ended with a cliffhanger and no resolution for any of the characters. I didn’t connect with, like or admire any of the characters and that was a problem. I don’t think I will be reading the second book in this series but do hope that it will do well and find the readers who will love it. Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for the ARC – This is my honest review. 2-3 Stars
