About this audiobook
What if we stopped avoiding the difficult people in our lives and committed to simply loving everybody? What happens when we give away love like we're made of it? In Everybody, Always, Bob Goff's joyful New York Times bestselling follow-up to Love Does, you'll discover the secret to living without fear, constraint, or worry.
Bob teaches us that the path toward the outsized, unfettered, liberated existence we all long for is found in one simple truth: love people, even the difficult ones, without distinction and without limits.
In Everybody, Always, Bob shows us the simple truths about life that have the power to shift our mindset forever:
- Jesus uses our blind spots to reveal himself to us
- It's easy to love kind, lovely, humble people, but you have to tackle fear in order to love people who are difficult
- What we do with our love will become the conversations we have with God
- Dark and scary places are filled with beautiful people who need our unconditional love
- Extravagant love has extraordinary power to change lives, including our own
Driven by Bob's trademark storytelling, this book reveals the wisdom Bob learned--often the hard way--about what it means to love without inhibition, insecurity, or restriction. From finding the right friends to discovering the upside of failure, Everybody, Always points the way to embodying love by doing the unexpected, the intimidating, the seemingly impossible.
Whether losing his shoes while skydiving solo or befriending a Ugandan witch doctor, Bob steps into life with a no-limits embrace of others that is as infectious as it is extraordinarily ordinary. Everybody, Always reveals how we can do the same.
Editor's Note
Love your neighbors…
Bob Goff’s followup to his runaway hit “Love Does” encourages you to love your neighbors — ALL your neighbors, everywhere, especially the difficult ones you don’t quite understand. It won’t be easy, but bridging the divide with love will definitely be worth it.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I liked the core message of this book (do a better job of loving other people, even when it’s hard), and I also liked the author’s humor and tone. However, as an atheist, I am not the target audience. I would recommend for Christian readers.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I could only get through a couple of chapters. :-(
I think this book is wonderful for a particular kind of audience – mostly those with great opportunity and privilege where they might need a reminder and some inspiration about the power of loving those less fortunate.
But for those at the other end of the scale – suffering, abused, broken – it doesn’t offer as much as I’d hoped – just “love those that you find difficult to love”. It felt like a shallow answer to those facing abuse and dysfunctional relationships that sometimes need some difficult boundaries.2 people found this helpful

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book was AMAZING! The author is hilarious and keeps the book moving at a great pace. The stories are fascinating and you feel so many emotions as you listen as if you are part of the story. I was engaged the entire time and was sad when the book ended. I’ve added this book to my favorites list (and I’m a very picky reader). This is the kind of book you buy everyone for Christmas.

My family also listens in and quickly gets sucked into the amazing ways Jesus shows up in each story. All I can say is wow! - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Bob Goff is the best! Great read— captivating stories with so many ties to scripture.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Mr. Goff is a good storyteller and it sounds like he has been seeing and doing a lot of great things as he pursues Jesus.
This book was entertaining. It also had some personal examples that Mr. Goff had to go through which tested him. He has many life challenging moments that he looks at as opportunities to grow closer to Jesus.
The only area for improvement would be to polish the writing a bit more and reduce some of the redundant stories throughout the book. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Every one of his books is worth the listen. I’m so glad he followed the tug to begin this journey and I pray he’s given a million more whimsical moments to share in another stack of books.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I thoroughly enjoyed listening to your adventures in discovering to love people — especially your enemies, the way Jesus loves everyone. This is truly a treasure for anyone who is looking for biblical encouragement and truth in their walk with Christ.
Thank you so much for sharing your tales, Bob.
