About this audiobook

Nothing perfect ever lasts.

For the first time in my entire life, I've found a community that accepts me. The village of dragon shifters knows what it's like to be different. These men care about me. And I care about them. I might even love them.

Among all that perfection, terror creeps in. It haunts this place during the night. Something dangerous, powerful, and deadly has found these innocent people.

And it wants me.

Contains mature themes.

Favorite of the series so far! We end up in the dragon village (where some of the guys are from) and we get to meet some family members which was adorable (loved Chaos' mom and Kain's mom was wary but definitely grew on you!). I had to do a couple double takes and checking FB and Amazon for info because I honestly thought I had missed a book or novella or something. I think that could have been an improvement (how the setting was staged in book 3). It took awhile for Arlow to mention it had been a week or something to that affect since the showdown with Creedence, so I was greatly confused. I loved the tension and heat in this book, I thought it was well-balanced. I was intrigued about the mysterious instances and that seemed a tad rushed, but again, not enough to make me degrade it from a 5 to 4 stars. I absolutely loved the relationships in this one, it made me so happy (was shocked what Kain decided to do, but shouldn't be because of how much he cares for Arlow). The M/M was perfect, and can't wait for Sin to join in on the heated moments (since they are clearly more than friends haha). We really get to see the baddie of the story develop, putting Arlow and her men in a tough position. Great job in book 3 of this series, couldn't stop listening ❤️

For narration, Kelsey really did a great job with the believability of her performances. I felt when the bonds strengthened, when they made that big leap at the festival, when Arlow said I love you to almost all of them haha. I felt the nastiness from the prima donna, loved Aggie's snark and the moms' love. Great job!!
