I am usually not one to listen to a tremendous amount of fiction, but given the topic, I thought I would give it a try. I'm unfamiliar with this author as well as the narrator; in fact, I'm assuming they are not one in the same as I didn't even look. To keep this short, however, the book is really interesting, actually it is enjoyable and a welcome break to non-fiction. It seems to be written well, although it left enough open that I figured out what had happened in the underlying storyline, given that I enjoy books of a military & tactical weapons nature. I think the writer poured several different issues into one thing and has managed to differentiate, yet intertwine them with the storyline very well. The narration is easy to listen to; there is no stammering, mispronunciation nor unusual pauses. It flows along perfectly. There are 3 other installments to this series so I went ahead and got them all. I hope they continue with the same degree of energy! Good choice for a change!
