About this audiobook

Under dirty black skies, the town of Dead Crow is deluged by days of rain, flooding the streets and cutting it off from the outside world. Chief Andy Curran already has his hands full, getting residents to safety and battling a greedy mayor. But now people are going missing in the endless rain. Curran soon discovers that there are things living in the overspilling river that threatens to drown Dead Crow. Their eerie clicking sounds drift across the frightened town as they emerge from its toxic waters. The rain isn't stopping. The clicking is getting louder. And the screams are only just beginning.

Not bad. It was entertaining despite what other have said. It's kind of original in my opinion.

Nothing to write home about. Constantly arguing townsfolk, water monsters and shotguns. Not bad, but I've found it hard to get engaged with the story. Didn't care much about the characters. Writing style was good, but that's about it. The monsters got revealed way too early, and it pretty much killed the suspense.

Omg, I loved this audiobook...from the gravely voices of the narrator to the well described writtings, the author and narrator gave us a stellar audiobook. The narrator's voice choices were great, lending to the feel of a throwback town almost forgotten. Even the the creatures noises the narrator made gave an ominous feel and totally added to the horror vibe. Well done. The story line was great, the characters were wisely developed with very humanistic tendencies, even depraved human tendencies. There was so much suspense and movement, I could not stop listening to it. This narrator/author combination is great. Go for it.
