About this audiobook

Crease is known in Weaver as ‘the bug guy', the man who takes care of insects and other critters. But what emerges from the shadows of the town's waste plant is beyond anything found in nature.

Fist-sized cockroaches. Bird-sized wasps. Spiders, millipedes, ticks, all swollen to enormous bulk with vicious appetites to match. And other things, creatures that should never exist.

Through the night they come, slithering, buzzing, scuttling, crawling over skin, burrowing into flesh, making the town their nest.
Time is soon running out for Crease and the other survivors, as that hideous skittering noise closes in from all around…

What our readers think

Readers find this title to be a good classic story with strong characters. The book is entertaining and creepy, with a gory insect mutant infestation theme. While it may not be on par with Stephen King, it is still amusing and worth a try. Some readers found the ending to be a bit cheesy and not believable, but overall, it is an enjoyable read.

Strong until the last hour /7 chapters.

You could tell where the story was bent to fit the predetermined ending- which was too cheesy to be believable.

    Entertaining..would not reread.

The story is pretty good. The characters are what really made the story!. This is a good classic story of greed and man vs nature. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

It’s no surprise that this book is creepy because it’s about bugs. I will confess that more than once I jumped because I felt a crawling sensation on my skin while listening to this story. Listening to this book is like watching a good B horror film.
