About this audiobook
The answer is here in investigative reporter Richard Miniter's stunning expose that includes exclusive interviews with both of Clinton's National Security Advisors, Clinton's counter-terrorism czar, his first Director of Central Intelligence, his Secretary of State, top CIA and FBI agents, lawmakers from both parties and foreign intelligence officials from France, the Middle East and Egypt, as well as on-the-scene coverage.
Losing bin Laden takes you inside the Oval Office, the White House Situation Room and some of the deadliest terrorist cells that America has ever faced. It is a riveting account of a terror war that bin Laden openly declared, but that Clinton left largely unfought.

Reviews for Losing Bin Laden

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Read from the perspective of 10 years after the US invaded Afghanistan and "lost" Bin Laden, possibly for good, this makes especially good reading. Clearly the author is no fan of Clinton but this seems to be a fair evaluation of what happened. What it does show is how events of an office that turns over often every 4 years are filled with small details of getting starting so important things fall by the way. The lesson is pay more about foreign affairs during and immediately the tranistion.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Same players in 1993 WTC attack, Somalia, Two embassies, Khobar towers, USS Cole, and this man was so scared of what happened in Mogadishu he wouldn’t put boots on the ground! Bush got all the criticisms of Clinton Administration failures including a recession.
Two embassies is an act of war and not a manhunt!
