About this audiobook

While performing the greatest love story of all time, they discovered one of their own…

Cassie Taylor was just another acting student with big dreams at her prestigious performing arts college…then she met Ethan Holt. She was the good girl actress. He was the bad boy on campus. But one fated casting choice for Romeo and Juliet changed it all. Like the characters they were playing on stage, Cassie and Ethan's epic romance seemed destined. Until it ended in tragedy when he shattered her heart.

Now they've made it to Broadway where they're reunited as romantic leads once again—and their passionate scenes force them to confront the heartbreaking lows and pulse-pounding highs of their intense college affair. For Ethan, losing Cassie was his biggest regret—and he's determined to redeem himself. But for Cassie, even though Ethan was her first and only great love, he hurt her too much to ever be trusted again. The trouble is, working with him again reminds her that people who rub each other the wrong way often make the best sparks. And when it comes to love, sometimes it's the things that aren't good for us that are the most irresistible. Don't miss Leisa Rayven's Bad Romeo, the intoxicating romance beloved by over two million fans online—a story that'll captivate you and hold you breathless until the final page.

I usually love angsty romances and although this wasn't the typical angsty romance it did the trick. The words that came to mind listening to it was that it was more so a tortured love type of romance however, it kept my interest, kept me engaged and Leisa Rayven did a great job of building heat and tension between the characters. There was good character development and even though Ethan's distance could be unbelievable for some, I've known guys like Ethan so it was probably more believe for me as a reader.

This is the 3rd book I've read by Leisa and I've been really impressed with them all so far. Her stories are always unique. Even if they are a new take on a trope they are always something more than that. I feel like her writing is next level when compared to most romance writers. I just wish she had more books out on audio!

2.5I am having a love/hate relationship with this one! This jumps back and forth between the past and present. Normally I do not hate insta-love, even though it is not one of my favorite things in a romance. However; this one irritated me. It was up and going by the first few chapters and very intense almost immediately. The relationship when the couple met was almost too intense which made it not believable at all. Several years have passed since something happened between Cassie and Ethan, but you would think it was only a few months. I only really started to like these characters toward the ends of the story. Should I read the rest of the series?

Audiobook- excellent narration This book has been reviewed enough times. You don't need another review of the story. This was a book I would have passed on if it weren't for some friends reviews. They sold it, and I'm so glad I listened. Romantic, intense, infuriating and sweet.Great characters with realistic problems that made me want to scream in frustration. They are both young, dumb, insecure and carry issues around, love/lust came at them fast and they weren't really ready for it. So they dove in, got trampled, broke into bits and then their was a knock on the door. Fade to black, it ended on one heck of a cliffhanger.Yes, I had to click away to get book 2 in the middle of the night ! Warning get both books don't wait.
