About this audiobook
When Alex first began posting unscripted family moments and motivational messages online, she had no intention of becoming an influencer. Overnight it seemed she’d amassed a huge following, and her hobby became a full-time job—one that was impossible to manage without her sharp-as-a-tack personal assistant, AC.
But all the good-will of her followers turns toxic when one controversial post goes viral in the worst possible way. Alex reaches out to AC for damage control, but her assistant has gone silent. This young woman Alex trusted with all her secrets, who had access to her personal information and front row seats to the pressure points in her marriage and family life, is now missing and the police are looking to Alex and her husband for answers. As Alex digs into AC’s identity – and a woman is found murdered – she’ll find the greatest threat isn’t online, but in her own living room.
Written in alternating perspectives between Alex, her husband, and the mysterious AC, this juicy cat and mouse story will keep you guessing till the very end.

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be a mixed bag. Some reviewers loved the book, praising the narration and the strong female character. They found the story riveting and enjoyed trying to figure out what would happen. However, others found the ending to be lackluster and not surprising. Overall, the writing was good and kept readers' attention, but it didn't have the wow factor some were hoping for. Despite this, some reviewers are still open to reading another book by the author.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I loved the book! The narration was amazing which always helps me to enjoy listening! The story was confusing at first and left me riveted to who was who in the past and future.
I love that the main female character was a lot stronger than she even knew!1 person found this helpful

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I couldn't get past the first chapter. I was excited about the book but the narration drove me crazy. Going to buy a hard copy and actually read it.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Easy quick read. Enjoyed it. Unexpected ending. Def a good book to dive into.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book is interesting to review. The writing is good and Kimberly Belle does a great job at keeping your attention. But keeping the readers attention and having an unforgettable story are two different things.
I really enjoyed the first 3/4 of the book. I loved trying to figure out what was going to happen, who was behind it, and what else would happen to the characters.
The ending was just OK. There was nothing really surprising that happened. Nothing that made me gasp. Nothing that made me go back to reread to see if I really read that right.
Will I read another book by Kimberly Belle? I won't say no. We will see.
