- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I finished this book just in time to make Tech Shabbat my New Year's resolution. The book felt like a breath of fresh air. Every time the author read off a list of things to do on a weekly screen free day, I found myself longing to do every one of those activities immediately. I felt starved for that kind of leisurely quality time of my youth. I have two small children and I anticipate the day before Tech Shabbat taking some practice to get everything organized. But I feel energized to practice this resolution. I can't wait to start recommending this book to friends as I invite them over for weekly dinners! This makes me so much more excited to welcome the year 2020, and to look back on my family's progress a year from now.

The author is very authentic and genuine with her experience of the 24/6 living. She sounds warm and wanting to be helpful!
I have already done one day of no technology while reading this book and I loved my experience.
I got this book to read while already being interested in doing this, so persuading wasn't necessary in my case. I enjoyed her writing as well as her message. She also includes many great suggestions for your time off-technology.
I recommend!
