About this audiobook

Persephone is a lovely little raven-haired art forger.

Model-good looks. Innocent hazel eyes. Curves that would tempt the devil himself.

She’s going to make a deal with me... even if that deal is made after I kidnap her and threaten her life.

My manner with Penny is brusque, brutal, and demanding. But her body beckons me like a siren’s call.

She’s shell shocked and afraid of what I might do to her.

My only fear is that once I touch her, I may not be able to stop...

I know this is a dark romance. With that being said, they don't really evolve passed the Stockholm syndrome. I don't mind the accents. The theme between them is just terror. I got to chapter 15 and turned it off. No shade to the author, just not really enough... Romance? Just Hades being angry and abusive in the way he talks to her and treats her.

Agreed the man screwed up the Scottish accent badly and I wish he had have just used his American accent but the book was not overly bad. Just irritating that Everand decided not to have book 2 but thats their norm.

DNF I’m sorry lol I made it legit 10 seconds in and had to immediately turn it off because of the male voice
