I've listened to both books in this series. While I definitely a wouldn't call them bone chilling, I would say they where OK and I liked them, easy on the ear when walking the dogs.
The characters where nice and had a back story each of which was interesting. The narrator was great! The stories themselves felt a little rushed and a bit "made for tv" but worth a listen/read
