About this audiobook

From USA Today bestselling author Jennifer Sucevic comes a sexy, new standalone novel.

Trust me when I say that Rowan Michaels fever is alive and well at Western University. His fanbase is legendary. The guy is a major player.

Both on and off the field.

Girls fall all over themselves to be with him. They fill the stands at football practice, show up at parties he’s rumored to be at, and basically stalk him around campus.

It’s a little nauseating.

Don’t these girls have any self-respect when it comes to a hot guy?

Fine...I’ll admit it, he’s good looking. If you’re into that kind of thing. Which I’m not. I’ve got school and soccer to keep me busy which is exactly why I avoid him like an unfortunate clap diagnosis.

Too bad for me that Rowan is my father’s star quarterback. He’s practically part of the family, attending Wednesday night dinners with us. To make matters worse, we’re in the same major and get stuck together in classes every semester. It’s like the universe is trying to play a cosmic joke on me. The one guy I’d like to steer clear of is the very same one I can’t seem to get away from.

But what if Rowan isn’t the player I pegged him to be?

What if one little secret has the capability to change everything between us?

I couldn't get into it. Was almost the same as the other book in the series but more boring. I didn't finish it. Two stars because it seemed to be well written.

It was ok, not as intense as others in the series. I would have preferred an extension to the ending, it was a little blunt.

I enjoy the strong female character in Demi, her strong beliefs and her driven personality make her a very level headed woman, until Rowan keeps popping up and she can't deny her feelings any longer. I also love the fact that he is absolutely besotted with her. It's true that you shouldn't believe rumours and gossip, because nice guys do exist and I'm glad this story has one of them.

I should have listened to my gut and just quit half way through… I’m sorry but I cannot in good faith recommend this book. I. Absolutely loved book 4! And I still want to read the others in the series, and it’s not bad writing, I just had the hardest time getting through this.

It needed to be cut in half in length for starts. There was way too much repetition. It lacked ooomph with the main plot line. The twists that came in weakened the main characters more than building them. Both male and female annoyed me by the end.

HOWEVER next book is Brayden and Sydney and I have high hopes for this enemy to lovers… I do look forward and hope it doesn’t disappoint….

Good, but took a little too long for them to finally connect.

Pretty good although a bit typical of a story. I would like to know more about his mom. His dad came back from prison for murder. Wasn't he concerned? It seemed like that situation was a big deal for only hearing her mentioned here and there. It was built up like you just knew something bad was going to happen and then it turned into a hiccup. I don't get the way he handled his dad. We get the impression as big as he is, somehow he's still intimidated by dad. That was out there. He breaks the girl's heart in two because he can't just be honest and then the coach scares the guy off and it's over lol. Some of this was a tad dumb and unreal to me. Not bad but really lacking in areas.
