About this audiobook
One sister murdered.
One brother jailed.
One love betrayed.
Mead House was once our childhood home. Despite my fears, I always knew we would have to return to face the demons of our past. Back to the place where it happened, to where, as carefree teenagers, we lost our elder sister in the most brutal of circumstances.
As executors of our grandmother’s will, my twin brother, Ollie, and I needed to empty the house for resale. What I didn’t expect to discover was my sister’s secret journal that contained her most private thoughts and shocking dark secrets.
Now I am questioning everything that I saw that night.
Did I get it wrong, who I saw?
Did my evidence send an innocent man, my then boyfriend's brother, to jail for the last 17 years?
I know I have no choice. If I want to find answers, I will have to go back to that fateful night my sister died. When she made her last visit to the summer house.
A tension-packed psychological thriller that will have you gripped.
Perfect for fans of Freida McFadden, Claire McGowan and Lisa Jewell.

One of the authors better books, though it does wander a bit and has moments of being overly far fetched. Excellent narration, I’m a bit surprised by the complaints - she’s one of the reasons I listen to this author. I wouldn’t go out of your way to listen to this one but if you have time to kill it’s nicely paced and will hold your attention - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5

Could not get into it - the narrator gave it an overly dramatic vibe while describing the most mundane information. There was nothing highly addictive about any of it in my opinion. I hate to not finish a Book and/or give a bad review but also. Life is too short to struggle through something that is supposed to be entertaining. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5

Not bad. It was an interesting story about revenge, but I found it to be a bit slow for my taste. It repeated the same things over and over. Overall, it was good, though. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5
