Cinderella has to leave abruptly as she has to be home by midnight or her beautiful clothes will turn into rags. As she rushes from the palace she loses one of her slippers. The prince goes from house to house looking for her and when she is the only one who fits the missing slipper the prince knows he has found the woman he met at the ball.
