- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5probably actually a really great book. this public domain version was painful to listen to. the only reason I didn't give it one star was for the potential for a great book. note: if you want to listen to a classic that should be rated four stars, don't listen to a public domain version

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A really fascinating perspective on what so many individuals fantasize of—being invisible. The commentary and narration is phenomenal.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Recording is poor quality but book is a great classic
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book was not entertaining. There were parts of great intrigue and action, but most of it was a boring slog. And everyone was a completely useless fighter until the very end when the plot was finishing up. The person who did the audiobook was a bit amateurish and unpolished, but I found it to be perfectly acceptable.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I tried so hard (because I loved War of the Worlds) but this was just so dry, I could barely get through it.
