About this audiobook
In Plato's ION, Socrates questions Ion, whether he should really claim laud and glory for his 'rhapsodic' recitals of Homer's poetry.

Plato
Plato (aprox. 424-327 BC), a student of Socrates and the teacher of Aristotle, is commonly regarded as the centermost figure of Western philosophy. His works are among the most influential in Western history, commanding interest and challenging readers of every era and background since they were composed.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The Philosophical book itself is good as it is Classic Literature for a reason BUT listening to this as an audiobook was so torturous as if having to endure nails on a chalkboard. I really tried not to judge this too harshly but there is no emotion in this mans voice. The diction and pitch is so off in so many areas. It is really as if at times that he is confused and gets lost on what he’s actually reading. Like when you are reading and you lose your place so you are still talking but at the same time in a panic to find your place again. I know this came from a free source from volunteer readers. But if I am paying a membership fee then it would be nice to have better quality in the ways of audiobooks.
