(Disclaimer: This is NOT the original book, but an unofficial summary.)
Many of us misunderstand that saying no is bad and as a result, we say yes to far too many responsibilities, even those that are not ours. This book Boundaries discusses how to set up our own boundaries, the importance of it, and how to overcome the various conflicts that come with boundaries. We will learn that everyone needs boundaries of their own and we must learn to respect the boundaries of others.

"One of the most expensive things you could ever do is pay attention to the wrong people." - Dr. Henry Cloud
Some of us may be compliants, always conforming to the requests of others; while some of us may be the one overstepping the boundaries of others, intentionally or not. Setting up boundaries and staying firm may not be easy, but it will make you a happier, more fulfilled person in the long run.
P.S. Learn how to improve your own life tremendously when you understand the true meaning behind setting boundaries for yourself and learning how to say no, or when to say yes.

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be a concise and positive guide on setting boundaries. While some readers had concerns about the Christian interpretations and lack of timeliness, overall the book is seen as life-changing and helpful for anyone struggling with boundaries in their life.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5One of the most life-changing books I have ever read. The book taught me everything my family of origin and religious leaders had failed to teach me.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I think the book would be useful for anyone who struggles with boundaries in his/her life, whether feeling guilty about having them or having trouble respecting the boundaries of others.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I really liked the conciseness of the summary and really laid out the author's mainpoints and tips on setting boundaries. Besides some of the Christian interpretations of the Bible pertaining to forgiveness and being submissive to one's partner as well as the heteronormativity, I thought it had a very positive way of letting reading know it is important to set boundaries for self-care and for God's love!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Not timely and insufficient on biblical ground. Much improvement needed.
