About this audiobook
A murder has been committed, and the most valuable clue is a gold-rimmed pince-nez glasses apparently dropped by the killer. Scotland Yard detective Stanley Hopkins returns as Sherlock’s foil to contrast the common policeman’s take on the mystery with Sherlock’s own genius insight into the matter.
Arthur Conan Doyle
Scottish writer and master storyteller Arthur Conan Doyle was born in 1859. As a medical student he was so impressed by his professor’s powers of deduction that he was inspired to create the illustrious and much-loved figure Sherlock Holmes. However in contrast to his scientific background, Conan Doyle became increasingly interested in spiritualism, leaving him keen to explore other fantastical elements in stories such as The Lost World.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5When I first knew about this case, I thought this is very mysterious and strange case. There were someone's glasses at the scene of murder. Nobody hit upon the owner of that, except Holmes. When he saw the glasses, he quickly describe about the murderer. He was too clever! He tried to find the murderer by doing some investigete, and finally he found the murdere! The murdere was hiding in the professor's room! This was really out of my expect! I was so surprised the appearance of the murderer! The murderer was a woman! At the end, the murderer died by taking the poison. But before that, she asked a favor to Holmes. Considered her past, hegot her favor. At this part, I thought he was very kindly person!
