Davis's life has been dedicated to writing and she now serves on the board of the Appalachian Authors Guild, the Planning Committee for the yearly Appalachian Heritage Writers Symposium, and is a member of the Reminiscent Writers Group of Southwest Virginia Community College at Richlands.view less
