Both editors served on the board of directors of the Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue league, and they remain shelter supporters. Jackie started the CRARL newsletter, The pet Connection, in 1994 and has remained its volunteer editor. Wet Pets is Hazel's brainchild, and the book, under her guidance, took form over the five years of its creation.view less
