Since then, he has written several novels: The Other Elizabeth, The Glory Circuit, and Baby Boy—the latter a Book-of-the-Month Club alternate. He has also had five plays produced, most of them off-Broadway, two of which were prizewinners. The Seashell, produced in England, starred Sean Connery and Dame Sybil Thorndike.
