Under the pseudonym “Gauthier”, he coordinated the development of the Ventriloquist network covering the free zone and helped the escape of Mauzac in July 1942. Arrested by the French police in October 1942 and sentenced to 10 years in prison, he managed to escape in January 1944 via the Pyrenees and Spain and returned to France after its liberation in April 1944.view less
