I have an M.A. in creative writ...view moreI am a retired teacher of English, history, biology, and environmental science and have taught just about every level between third grade and college senior courses. I have an M.A. in creative writing, from the University of Illinois. My picture is about 10 years old, as I have nothing more recent, but that is how I looked when I first retired and worked on finishing my books. Over decades I spent a lot of my free time learning about and trying to preserve natural areas, and some of my best memories are from the days when I was learning to identify plants and birds and butterflies. These days as a retiree I devote a lot of my time to playing several musical instruments and to enjoying my pets and my garden.view less
