I write in hopes of making something my daughter can point to and be proud of, to point to and say "my daddy wrote that." I also write to shut up the voices of my characters demanding to be heard and written down, as well as to shut up Muse and to stop the metaphorical abuse.
I wrote a great deal of story pieces and ideas many, many years ago in my mid to late 20's, and then life, jobs, and Muse taking a protracted vacation ended that until recently. After my daughter was born, Muse returned and motivated me to get back into it, going back through all those old story parts, snippets, and ideas, realizing that most of them were related to each other, pieces of a larger whole that I had not seen before. I have now stitched most of those together, and am working to publish the completed stories. Plus, now that Muse is talking to, an abusing me again, I have many more stories, both related to that original universe, and independent of it.view less
