Center for Language Arts: (2006, Kennesaw, Georgia).The center is named in the honor of her mother, Carrie R. Payne. Mrs. McDonald is currently studying for her Doctoral Degree in Pastoral Community Counseling at the Argosy University of Atlanta Georgia. She received her B.S. Degree from the O.S.U.(1954) and her M. Ed. from the W.S.U. Dayton, Oh. (1989). Among her many awards and commendations are: "Effective School Process recipient, Gifted Endorsement Presenter, and Student Support Specialist.
Her husband of thirty years (Robert) recently passed: (2010), encouraged her for many years to write her story. She is the mother of one daughter and one son and have four wonderful grandchildren. Jawharah, who is a Sophmore at Howard University, Rasheed and Nasir who are scholars at The Filton Leadership Academy and Maalan a kindergarten student at the Prime Care Learning Academy. They reside in Riverdale, Georgia.view less
