Deplorable Tragedy: A Family’s Mystery Answered, about the mysterious deaths of her great-grandparents, is her first novel.Originally from Massachusetts, Alix moved to Miami, Florida where she lived for some fifty years. In between her job as an operating room nurse, she traveled to Europe, cruised the Bahamas on a sailboat, renovated an old farmhouse in France and wrote stories.Now retired, she, with her husband and son and two cats, are enjoying living in the Upstate of South Carolina.
