He loves the challenge. What's more, it gives him time to do unpaid work, such as the years he spent founding the energy news website EnergyBulletin.net (now Resilience.org). He's also one of the co-founders of the global permablitz movement of volunteer-executed garden makeovers, and has a weekly radio show called Greening the Apocalypse on Melbourne's Triple R. For money, he is a permaculture designer and educator in his business Very Edible Gardens in Melbourne, Australia, which he codirects with Dan Palmer. Plus he lets Annie cajole him into writing books with her sometimes.view less
