AJ is a Certified Volunteer Chaplain Assistant with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and spent many years ministering to the offender population everywhere from pre-parole facilities to death row. She married the man of her dreams, Kyle, in 2009. They live in North Texas in an actual little house on the prairie.
