From 1980 Mary practiced hypnosis with clients who came to her clinic. While they were in their hypnotic state, she noticed that some spontaneously reconnected to their innate resources. After training in EFT Mary found that this reconnection could be brought about by linking EFT with hypnosis; Mary observes herself and others and, using what she sees, she moves towards and investigates ways to love better. Mary absolutely loves it when clients cancel and say, What we did together worked wonders. Her intention has always been to empower others. She wrote this book for that reason.

Mary is a psychotherapist/hypnotherapist and energy therapist she works full-time at The Tickhill Clinic. This is a complementary therapy centre in the heart of a South Yorkshire village in the UK. She holds an honours degree in psychology and post graduate training in psychotherapy. She has worked in adult, family as well as child care programmes. She is a therapist with over 34 years of experience in full time private practice.
Mary is an eclectic therapist using a comprehensive approach to healing, this involves integrating traditional with newer, complementary models of energy psychology. Mary has been awarded an EFT Master Practitioner and Academic Certificate Honors Level status by Gary Craig the developer of EFT.
Mary utilises specialized techniques in the treatment of PTSD, depression, anxiety and phobias. Her work with addictions involves eating disorders as well as drug and alcohol abuse. Mary is as comfortable working within the corporate world as the sports arena. Within the corporate world she helps professionals develop skills with people, anger management and assertive behaviour training. She says she feels truly honoured to be invited into so many aspects of her clients lives.
Mary is an accredited trainer with the National Council of Psychotherapy, The Association for the Advancement of Meridian Therapy Techniques, The National Council of Hypnotherapy, The EFT Universe as well as Be Set Free Fast (BSFF). In the last 19 years Mary has trained therapists and trainers Worldwide in Energy Psychology Techniques.
