The character Mic, altho...view moreMatt Rittenhouse is a husband to one loving mother and father to four loving daughters. His four daughters provide a great deal of inspiration to his book. The character Mic, although fictional reflects his personal morals and principals. He was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Having traveled from coast to coast and including the gulf coast he is familiar with various parts of the country and is accustom to the destinations Mic travels to on his journey. As Matt’s journey continues he plans on having his beautiful wife and girls accompany him to all the magnificent places this world has to offer. For him it’s all about how he gets to his destination and making sure he soaks it all in once he arrives. His goals in life are to make sure he gets the most out of every adventure in his path and to never stop looking for a new one. Matt enjoys the simple pleasures and has a strong desire to do what he loves. His passion for life spews out on the pages of his book They Came, We Conquered. It is his first novel and hopefully it ignites the bright burning light to a long and prosperous career in novel writing. Hope you enjoy reading it even more so than he did writing it.view less
